What transpired with Amjad Mashal?
It all commenced when he commenced following an Instagram influencer named Mazini, also recognized as Jebara Igbarra.
Mazini had risen to fame for bestowing cash upon random individuals on the streets.
However, he encountered legal predicaments when the FBI accused him of orchestrating a scam involving wire transfers and defrauding millions of dollars in Bitcoin from his followers.
This resulted in Mazini losing a substantial number of followers and contemplating a professional transformation.
Upon learning about the accusations against Mazini, Amjad took to social media and openly rebuked him.
His posts garnered attention, which perturbed Mazini concerning his tarnished reputation.
Mazini resolved to confront Amjad, asserting his desire to discuss matters over coffee.
However, events took a drastic turn when they convened on March 15, 2021.
Amjad was forcefully abducted and compelled into a vehicle.
Harboring suspicions regarding Mazini’s motives, Amjad fled the vehicle in his own car.

However, investigators unearthed that Amjad had accepted a $100,000 inducement to provide a false statement in favor of one of the defendants.
Consequently, law enforcement apprehended Amjad and accused him of bribery.
In addition, authorities discovered narcotics in his possession during the arrest, eventuating in an extra drug allegation.
Amjad has since been convicted of the bribery charges and an extra weapons offense, resulting in a prison term.
