O’Connor expressed, “We had no suspects on the CCTV footage. At the convenience store, they were observant enough to have someone just loitering outside to come in and buy the necessary items.”

A Stone Mountain couple was abducted, robbed, bound, and murdered by Spencer and another individual, Vernon Beamon, on October 24, 2016, according to the police. This occurred five months later.
The duo was apprehended, convicted, and Spencer’s DNA was added to a state-operated database. According to O’Connor, the DNA subsequently matched Shiel’s DNA with the Coca-Cola bottle’s DNA.
