Christine Quinn Holds Nothing Back On Mexican Vacation

Selling Sunset celebrity Christine Quinn is enjoying a vacation that many people can only dream of at the moment.

Quinn was seen in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on January 9, accompanied by her husband Christian Richard.

The 34-year-old realtor amazed photographers in a leopard-print bikini as she flaunted her incredible physique and sun-kissed skin by the pool of her private villa.

To add to the idyllic vacation setting, her villa overlooks the picturesque Sea of Cortez, perfect for Instagram-worthy moments.

Christine is arguably one of the most captivating members of the Selling Sunset cast.

Her unruffled demeanor and penchant for creating tension make the show a must-watch, and her insistence on wearing the slimmest stiletto heels has many viewers concerned she might stumble while on camera.

“Revisiting the trauma on Selling Sunset about my childbirth experience was one of the most challenging things I have ever done; not to mention allowing these very raw, personal moments of my life to be captured on camera,” she expressed in a caption she wrote for her son’s two-month birthday.

A Glimpse of Christine Quinn

Christine was born in Dallas in October 1988 and aspired to become an actress before discovering her passion as a realtor.

She attended the Juilliard School in New York City and had ambitious plans to become a star in Hollywood.

Quinn had a series of minor roles in her brief acting career, featuring in movies like Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Shark Night, and The Perfect Match.

She also made several guest appearances in prominent TV shows, including Angie Tribeca, Ballers, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Drop Dead Diva.

Christine didn’t stop there, transitioning to modeling and making appearances in magazines such as Vogue.

She obtained her real estate license in 2016 and joined the Oppenheim Group that year.

Christine had no inkling that her fame would soar after Netflix came calling.

During season 3 of the show, Christine announced her engagement and marriage to millionaire software engineer Christian Richard.

The show detailed their early courtship, offering viewers an intimate insight into their house-hunting process.

Christine was understandably disheartened when her on-screen gothic fairytale wedding was overshadowed by Chrishell’s divorce from Justin Hartley in the season 3 finale of the show.

She claimed she was assured a series of scenes depicting the wedding and that Netflix used her perfect day as background noise.

She gave birth to the couple’s son in May 2021, whom they named Christian Georges Dumontet – known as Baby C.

Christine Quinn: The Antagonist Of Selling Sunset?

Christine became a household name when Selling Sunset unexpectedly became a hit during lockdown.

When Chrishell Stause joined the group in 2019, neither Christine nor her colleagues expected their lives to be thrust into the limelight overnight.

According to Christine, the show’s editors ensure she is the only villain when it is quite evident that all the women find aspects to criticize.

Renowned for her straightforward attitude, many fans have consistently singled her out as the most engaging member of the team.

When walking the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards on December 7, 2021, Christine embraced her role as the villain of the show.

When questioned by Laverne Cox about her involvement in drama, she echoed RuPaul’s Drag Race star Scarlet Envy’s well-known TikTok audio:

“Do I believe I’m the center of the drama? I don’t think I’m the drama. Maybe I’m the drama.”

Christine added: “Yeah, I thrive on it. I love being the villain, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

While fans agree that Christine is possibly less manipulative than Davina Portraz, it is evident she enjoys adding fuel to the metaphorical fire.

In season 4, it appeared that the Selling Sunset ladies had to intensify an already chaotic situation.

Christine’s Distressing Season 4 Ordeal

Christine revealed her struggles with postpartum depression during the filming of Selling Sunset‘s fourth season.

“I was pregnant on top of dealing with postpartum depression … this season was really difficult for me,” she said. “I did the best that I could with the emotions that I was dealing with at the time and that I’m still dealing with now.”

Quinn also faced criticism after colleagues and viewers questioned her ability to regain her supermodel body immediately after giving birth.

Christine disclosed that she overheard medical staff saying she needed an emergency C-section to save the baby during the challenging labor.

She also disclosed that her husband was told to choose between his wife or son amidst the chaos.

“[Christian] was absolutely freaking out. And then when we were doing the emergency C-section, my heart rate was going down, the baby’s heart rate was going down,” Christine told her colleagues on the show. “And then one of the nurses went up to Christian and said, ‘You need to make a priority right now. You have to choose one.’ He was like, ‘Both. You need… Both.’”

Despite the struggle she faced as a new mother, Christine had to combat rumors of faking her pregnancy online.

She revealed in a confessional that she wanted to maintain her physical health during her pregnancy, staying active with yoga and pilates.

Accusations that she fabricated the entire pregnancy started circulating after clips of the show, in which Christine was being praised for her post-baby body, went viral.

In response to a scene that gave the impression Christine was doing yoga shortly after giving birth, she clarified that it had been edited to appear that way.

According to Christine, the editors intentionally made it seem like she was post-partum while exercising during pregnancy.

“I never worked out after my C-section,” she replied to a user on Twitter. “Are you smoking Crack? Where did you read that? The yoga scene I was pregnant. It took me 4 months till I could even start yoga again.”

Unfortunately, it appears that Netflix took advantage of Christine’s vulnerable state when editing the series, portraying her as a neglectful mother and friend.
