Cody Rhodes Biography

Cody Ghareet Runnels is a professional wrestler, entrepreneur, and actor popularly identified by his ring name, Cody Rhodes or Cody.

He is turning 37 in June 2022 and is a Gemini by zodiac sign.

He is currently holding the AEW TNT Championship and is also an executive vice president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he also performs in the ring.

Cody Rhodes was born to Virgil Runnels, better known as Dusty Rhodes, a professional and highly successful wrestler, and his second wife, Michelle.

He officially changed his name to Cody Rhodes in his youth. 

Cody attended Lassiter high school and excelled as a wrestler.  

Rhodes was an outstanding wrestler at Lassiter High School, claiming the Georgia state championship at 189 lb (86 kg) in 2003 and repeating the feat as a senior.

He had planned to wrestle at Penn State University on an academic level but decided to pursue a career as a professional wrestler.
