In a statement to People on Wednesday, Holker, 34, wrote, ‘I regret to inform you that my husband Stephen has left us. It is with the utmost sorrow. Stephen brought joy into every space he entered. Above all, he cherished his family, friends, and community.
He believed that the best way to lead was with love and light. He was our family’s foundation, the finest husband and father, and an inspiration to his followers.’

During Season 7 of “SYTYCD” in 2010, the dancers connected, even though Boss was unaware that his future wife was making advances towards him.
They spent the entire evening dancing together at the show’s wrap party, which solidified their love.
On December 10, 2013, the couple exchanged vows after three years of courtship. They danced their inaugural dance to Adele’s “One and Only.”
Holker had previously given birth to a child with a former boyfriend in 2008, making her a mother of one by the time she met Boss.
The couple then welcomed Maddox, a baby boy, as their first child in March 2016.

The “SYTYCD” alum was reported to have taken his own life in Los Angeles, and Holker issued a poignant statement.
‘Not a day will pass without us remembering him; I am certain of that. We request privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.
Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,’ Holker stated as she delivered her final words.
