America’s Got Talent released a new clip that clearly highlighted how fans are taken through an emotional explanation of Mitch Rossell Son song.

While recounting his story, he emphasized the significant role his late father played in his musical career during his formative years.

He stated that he ventured into the music industry because of his father. In his childhood, Rossell would accompany his dad in the car, spending time listening to country music.

They used to sing the songs together audibly and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Rossell also expressed that his deep connection with country music is intertwined with memories of his late father.

He also disclosed that despite experiencing financial struggles, his father found a way to bestow upon him an acoustic guitar so that he could pursue music effortlessly.

On stage, with tears in his eyes, he revealed that at the age of 10, he tragically lost his father, who had also been his childhood musical companion, in a fatal drunk-driving accident.

He recounted that it was an unexpected car accident in a small neighborhood. His grandfather was driving the truck on one side of the highway, while his grandmother-in-law and father were returning from work in their own van on the opposite side.

Just as they were about to pass each other, a drunk driver hit his grandfather’s car from behind, causing it to veer into the opposite lane.

Unfortunately, Rossell’s father’s car was traveling in the other direction on that lane. The two vehicles collided, resulting in all three of them losing their lives on the spot.

Undoubtedly, this tragic incident led to immense challenges for Rossell.

Despite not feeling like it, Rossell moved forward with his life. He chose to honor his beloved father’s memory by pursuing his passion for country music.

He resumed playing the guitar and started participating in local performances.
