Mr. Bradehoft moved to Milwaukee from Illinois to visit his brother and look for a job to support his family. 

He was married with three kids, but he and his wife had split up. He passed away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, on July 19, 1991.

On July 19, 1991, Joseph Bradehoft was standing at the bus station by himself, a six-pack tucked under one arm, when he first met Dahmer.

The murderer wasn’t sleeping and had just been fired from his position at a chocolate factory.

Dahmer extended an invitation to visit him again and made a cash offer of $50 to capture some of his nude photographs. Joseph happily accepted his offer.

Before beheading Bradehoft, Dahmer left his body on his bed for two days. A few days later, his head was discovered in the freezer.
