Irina Moyer, also referred to as Irina Geller, and her son met their demise at the hands of her spouse, Christopher Moyer.
During the evening of June 17th, 2011, Christopher Moyer calmly dialed 911 and reported the killing of his wife, Irina Moyer, and their son, Dylan.
When questioned by the operator about his involvement in their demise, Moyer answered, “Yes, I did.”
Moyer also expressed certainty about his wife and son’s demise and remained composed as he did not plan to live long after the call.
Three hours after the call, Moyer was discovered deceased on the Septa tracks in Hatboro, having taken his own life by lying in front of a train.
The bodies of Irina Moyer and Dylan were found in their beds. After the call, authorities hurried to the Warrington home and surrounded the premises.
Unaware that Christopher was not at home, they tried to make contact with someone inside. Eventually, they forcefully entered the residence and found the bodies.
Authorities stated that Irina’s body had been dragged into a nearby bathroom. Moyer had left the house by the time the authorities arrived.
Heckler, the Bucks County District Attorney, released a recording of Moyer’s 911 call to comply with media requests.
The only potential reason identified by authorities was the financial difficulties the Moyers had been facing.
Dylan was meant to be dropped off at his grandparents’ residence that evening. Concerned upon not hearing from the Moyers, the grandparents went to the house and discovered the bodies.
What caused Irina Moyer’s demise?
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office concluded that Irina and Dylan perished due to blunt-force trauma to the head.
The office determined Christopher’s passing as a self-inflicted death resulting from multiple bodily traumas. Within a matter of hours, a seemingly affectionate family ceased to exist.
There were no indications of domestic discord, and Chris seemed to adore Dylan.
Upon failing to reach the Moyers, Irina’s parents headed back home. Irina’s brother and sister-in-law were informed about the deaths at the scene.
