Jeff Timmer’s Son Accident – Mekbul Timmer Found Dead

Jeff Timmer’s son met his demise due to an unfortunate accident.

According to a statement from The Lincoln Project, the young son of Republican party leader Jeff Timmer and his wife Mattie passed away unexpectedly.

He had recently turned 18.

‘We are saddened by the premature loss of our youngest child. Everyone who knew Mekbul Timmer, a high school senior, admired and loved him. Cherish your family, especially your children,’ the message said.

Mattie, Jeff’s wife, later made the following statement: ‘The outpouring of love and sympathy we have received is providing us with the moments of grace we need to cope with this unimaginable pain.’

She continued, ‘We appreciate everyone who has contacted us, no matter how small the gesture @jefftimmer.’

The untimely passing of Jeff Timmer’s young son was announced by The Lincoln Project.

A tweet from Twitter mentioned that Mekbul Timmer, the youngest child of the political activist, was a high school student.

Who Was Mekbul Timmer?

Mekbul Timmer was born to Jeff Timmer, his father, and Mattie Timmer, his mother.

Jeff Timmer is a senior advisor to The Lincoln Project, a group of Republican Party activists who opposed Donald Trump’s presidency.

According to his father’s Facebook profile, he is the co-founder of Republicans & Independents for Biden.

Timmer’s mother is a Michigan State University alumna and the head of the political consulting firm Two Rivers Public Relations.

Timmer attended St. Patrick’s School in Portland, Michigan, for high school. His mother shared a picture of him playing high school soccer in August 2021.

Timmer lived in Portland, Michigan, a city that is 25 miles to the northwest of Lansing, with his family.

Timmer is survived by his parents as well as his siblings Maggie, Mary, Joe, and Grace. His sister, Maggie, posted on Facebook that his passing was unexpected.

Twitter Pays Tribute To Mekbul On His Death

Mekbul Timmer, Jeff Timmer’s son, passed away in the first week of March 2022, and tributes are pouring in on Twitter.

A few hours after the message was released, Jeff expressed his grief on his own Twitter profile.

‘A grief therapist urges me to engage in my usual activities for as long as I can tolerate. I’m about to vent my emotions on this here Twitter app,’ he tweeted.

Tributes for Mekbul have flooded the comments section, with one close acquaintance writing:

‘I have been thinking of you, @MattieTimmer, and your entire family, and I will keep doing so. Let me know if you need anything, please. I can make a cup of coffee and accommodate particular dietary needs. I’m sending you my love and support.’

‘I received immeasurable assistance from a grief therapist after my son’s demise. I hope you find some solace.’ added another individual.

‘I’m very sorry, Jeff,’ a third person said. ‘I’m so sorry for you and your son.’
