Josh Dugger Death – What Is The Truth Behind The Rumor?

The news of Josh Dugger’s decease garnered attention from social media users after several websites on the internet shared his false obituary.

As per some reports, John passed away on July 7 with the published statement “The former American reality TV personality known as Josh Duggar is believed to have passed away.”

The TV personality is said to have succumbed following the legal issues he faced in relation to child exploitation charges. 

Furthermore, Josh Duggar’s family addressed the rumors. They came forward after the circulation of his fake obituary on social media, confirming that he is in good health.

Some of Josh’s relatives expressed their distress after websites posted false news of Josh’s passing on their official page, “Many family members are attempting to ignore the current information about Josh, especially negative comments on Twitter following his arrest. Despite the current public perception of him, it is disheartening to hear false rumors being spread, causing additional stress during a difficult time.”.

As the news of his passing spread across social media platforms, one user tweeted about Josh’s decease, “We are saddened to learn that Josh Duggar has passed away on July 7, 2021.”

The 34-year-old Josh Duggar, who was sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison on May 25, was found guilty of possessing child exploitation material. 

During the trial, a computer expert from The Justice Department, James, testified about the pornographic images of 12 underage children that Josh had downloaded onto his work computer a year earlier, depicting s*xual abuse.

Previously, Josh Duggar confessed to s*xually assaulting four of his younger sisters during his teenage years (one of whom was allegedly five years old).

Josh was convicted of his crimes involving minors. The jury handed down a sentence of 12 years.
