Keeping It Private: Adrian Autry’s Wife Maintains A Low Profile

Autry and his partner, Andrea, who chooses to keep her personal life away from the public eye, have four children, two daughters named Aliya and Nina and two sons named Trey and Adrian. As per sources, the family resides in Jamesville.

Their son, Trey, is currently pursuing his education at George Washington University and is considered a three-star recruit in the class of 2023.

Prior to attending GWU, he played basketball at Jamesville-Dewitt and later transferred to Western Reserve Academy in Ohio.

In recent news, Jim Boeheim, who had a long career as the head coach at Syracuse, announced his retirement.

Following his announcement, Adrian Autry was promoted to the position of head coach for the Syracuse University basketball program.

Boeheim had been the head coach at Syracuse since 2017 and had a remarkable career, with a record of 1,015-441 in his 47 seasons, including 101 NCAA Tournament wins.

However, his career was marred by NCAA violations, which resulted in the loss of 101 of his wins.

Boeheim stated during his retirement press conference that he had always known it was the university’s decision whether he continued coaching or not.

He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to coach at his alma mater and for never having to leave Syracuse.

Autry and his discreet partner are parents to four children, and their son Trey is a promising basketball player.

Jim Boeheim retired from his position as the head coach of Syracuse University, and Adrian Autry was named as his successor.

Boeheim had a successful career, but it was not without controversy, and he acknowledged that the decision to continue coaching had always been up to the university.

Autry’s Coaching Career

Autry commenced his professional coaching career as the head coach for Bishop Ireton Catholic High School in Virginia in 2006.

He later transitioned to coaching for powerhouse AAU programs before transitioning into the collegiate ranks as the director of baseball operations at Virginia Tech, where head coach Seth Greenburg hired him.

Prior to his coaching career, Autry primarily played in European leagues, including the United States Baseball League (USBL) and others.

He was eventually promoted to an assistant coaching position and was named the assistant coach at Syracuse in 2011. He was later promoted to associate head coach in March 2017.

During his time at Syracuse, Autry has coached numerous NBA draft picks, including Jerami Grant, Tyler Ennis, Oshae Brissett, Tyler Lydon, and Chris McCullough. He has also enjoyed significant success in his career in the NBA.

As the coach for Syracuse, Autry is responsible for recruiting all positions for the Oranges.

He has led the team to seven NCAA tournament appearances in his 12 campaigns as an assistant coach, including Final Four trips between 2013 and 2016.

In November 2016, Autry was recognized as a Syracuse LetterWinner of Distinction, and in 2017, he received the prestigious Vic Hanson Award from the Hardwood Club.
