Alaina Chantal Parkhurst, also known as Laney Chantal, at the age of 33 and from Manitou Ocean side, MI, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.
The reason for her passing was due to complications arising from an unintentional overdose. Ms. Parkhurst dealt with mental health challenges throughout her adult life.
A funeral has been planned for November 12, 2022. The specific location is yet to be determined and will be announced via social media at a later date.
Many will recall Ms. Parkhurst from her appearances on ICP’s Patreon/Jerk shows. Others may recognize her from performances and Juggalo events. Some were privileged to call her a friend.

Laney’s family wished to provide information about mental health disorders and where to find assistance, as mental illness played a role in her passing.
Alaina wrestled with various mental health disorders throughout her adult life. To honor Laney and her struggles with mental illness, her family is requesting donations to be made to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.
This foundation is dedicated to alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness by granting funds for scientific research that will result in breakthroughs and progress.
