In 1995, six-year-old Morgan Nick vanished while playing with her friends at a little league game in Alma, Arkansas on a summer day. Despite extensive search efforts by the authorities, she was never located, and no clues emerged.
To this day, Morgan’s abduction remains a puzzle, and her family and law enforcement are still seeking answers. Recently, the FBI disclosed that they may be making progress in identifying Morgan’s kidnapper.
This revelation coincides with the debut of a four-part true-crime documentary series titled “Still Missing Morgan,” which was produced by Ridley Scott and is now airing on Hulu.
The series delves into the tragedy experienced by the Nick family when Morgan went missing and two other simultaneous cold-case kidnappings. It features exclusive footage from the FBI’s Evidence Recovery Unit, uncovering new leads and pinpointing the most probable abductor.
Despite the passage of more than 26 years, authorities persist in pursuing the case and exploring potential leads. One such lead pertains to a red pickup truck with an attached camper that was spotted near the baseball field where Morgan disappeared. Reports of suspicious activities involving the truck driver and other children led the police to consider it a potential link to the case.
Furthermore, a person of interest has been identified in the investigation. Described as a man aged between 23 and 38 at the time of Morgan’s disappearance, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium to substantial build, mustache, and beard.
In 2021, FBI agents identified Billy Jack Lincks as a person of interest in the case. Two months after Morgan vanished, Lincks attempted to abduct a child and was subsequently convicted of s*xual indecency.
Colleen Nick, Morgan’s mother, has never relinquished her hope for her daughter’s safe return. She expressed, “I never envisioned that Morgan would still be missing. Someone is aware of the truth.”
