It’s been a year since the surprising and unforeseen demise of performer Ray Liotta, most famously recognized for his roles in movies like Goodfellas and Field of Dreams.
On May 26th, 2022, Liotta passed away in his sleep while working on a movie in the Dominican Republic.
After prolonged deliberation, an autopsy report has finally disclosed the reason for passing: heart disease.
The 67-year-old performer was found to have undergone pulmonary edema and sudden heart failure due to atherosclerotic disease.
According to records obtained by TMZ, the manner of passing was labeled as natural and nonviolent, attributing respiratory insufficiency, cardiac arrest, and heart failure as contributory elements.
Liotta had been shooting a movie titled Dangerous Waters when he passed away.
His publicist released a statement saying that he had “enjoyed a prosperous career spanning four decades” and “was looking forward to continuing his work in film” before his untimely demise.
