Stillwater Man Found Dead – Family Grieves Loss Of George Musser

A search is underway for George Musser, 20, who went missing in the early hours of December 24th in Stillwater. He was last spotted near Brian’s Bar in downtown Stillwater, wearing a stocking cap, dark blue pants, and a grey flannel shirt. Musser, a 5’8″ white male with brown eyes and hair, weighs 145 pounds. The Stillwater Police Department urges anyone with information about his disappearance to come forward.

George Musser’s mysterious disappearance has caused concern among his family and the community. A Facebook page, “Find George Musser,” has been set up to provide updates on the search. It has been confirmed that Musser’s wallet was found in a snowbank near the Freight House, but his ID card was missing. His car was parked at the Freight House parking lot, and its keys were discovered near a garbage can close to Brian’s Bar.

Local residents gathered on Sunday morning to launch a search along the riverside/east side of the Freight House, showing solidarity in their efforts to find Musser.

The Stillwater Police Department expressed gratitude for the community’s support and involvement, stating, “We appreciate the neighborhood’s assistance in the search for George. The active search for George is ongoing.

The police department has called for help from local residents and Minnesota Search and Rescue to initiate a community search. The search will commence at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, and residents are encouraged to inspect their own properties and any available security camera footage beforehand to aid in the search.

As the search for Musser continues, the department advises volunteers to focus on the area between Washington Park and the river. Furthermore, those who have already conducted a search are requested to mark their front doors prominently, indicating that their property has been checked.

Emily, a family member of Musser, expressed, “I wouldn’t want to speculate on where he was going or what his intentions were,” she added that where he was discovered was not on his way back home from the downtown restaurant where he was last seen. “It’s a little bit out of the way.
