Tony Goldwyn Wife, Jane Musky & Their Love Story

Going out isn’t restricted to famous personalities in Hollywood – many renowned figures have formed relationships within their industry, from Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley to Jessica Biel and Chris Evans.

A less typical union, however, is between creative individuals in the business. Enter Tony Goldwyn and Jane Musky, who have sustained a successful marriage for over 34 years!

The couple is raising two daughters in Connecticut.

Jane Musky and Tony Goldwyn are a match made in Hollywood – two influential personalities who have been together for an astounding 34 years!

The Love Story of the Couple

The duo’s romance began when Jane, an accomplished art director and production designer from New Jersey, was introduced to Tony – an actor with a long lineage of entertainment aristocracy – by a mutual acquaintance.

Since then, they have remained dedicated to each other while bringing up their two daughters Anna Musky-Goldwyn and Tess Frances Goldwyn away from the glamour of Tinsel Town.

Coming from an entertainment family themselves, both girls eventually pursued careers in acting and writing, following in their parents’ footsteps.

But that doesn’t mean Jane didn’t contribute her own influence; she even played a crucial role in securing her husband the leading part opposite Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in a ’90s classic!

Jane Musky might be best known for her work as a production designer in the 1989 beloved film “When Harry Met Sally,” but she has received critical acclaim for her designs in notable movies like 1992’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” and the 2018 romantic comedy “The Seagull.”

Her contributions to the art of filmmaking have been acknowledged by various organizations, including an Art Directors Guild Award nomination for her work on the 80s series “Murphy Brown,” and a Daytime Emmy nod for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design for the 1980s-90s CBS show “Schoolbreak Special.”

While she is yet to claim such accolades, Jane continues to produce high-quality art that is bound to be cherished by future generations.

Tony Goldwyn was his closest friend’s supporter when he met Jane Musky, but things didn’t unfold as expected. During their notorious initial encounter, which involved a run followed by an impromptu swim in a pond (that the friend declined to partake in due to its “living things”), Tony had no inkling that this would mark the beginning of a long-lasting partnership with Hollywood nobility.

The couple has now been in a remarkable 34-year relationship – and for Tony, it only took one meeting to realize an exceptional connection with Jane.

He stated: “I knew when I was 21 when I met her that I had better hold on because I will never come across this again.”

While they have undoubtedly encountered their fair share of challenges during such a lengthy marriage, Tony attributes the reverence he holds for his wife as what helps them navigate through their issues and still stay strong.

Jane & Tony’s Offspring

For Jane and Tony, their two daughters Anna and Tess were the most significant aspects of their lives. Fortunately, both of their daughters followed in their father’s footsteps in the film industry.

Anna is a screenwriter and fitness enthusiast who has also excelled as a triathlete and cycling instructor. Her sister Tess is an actress, director, and writer – her recent projects include 2020’s “Red Flags” and 2021’s “but I’m here too.”

Despite raising their children away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, the couple has made sure Anna and Tess unlock their full potential in this domain.
