Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Under The Spotlight & How Jolie Helped Her Get Over The Tragedy Of Her Lost Pet

Along with their kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and their first biological child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also have non-identical twins, Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. These twins have matured so rapidly that they are indistinguishable.

The Non-Identical Twins, Knox and Vivienne

The famous Hollywood couple, Brangelina, publicly revealed their pregnancy in May 2008, for their 2nd and 3rd biological children. However, the couple ended up at a hospital in Nice, France, with the intention of delivering their baby in seclusion.

Unfortunately, their privacy was breached, as reporters and paparazzi waited outside during the birth. Vivienne and her twin brother Knox were born on July 13, 2008.

Marcheline is Vivienne’s middle name, and it’s in memory of Angelina Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away in 2007 after battling cancer.

Down to Earth Attitude

Being the kids of famous celebrities might be challenging, but Knox and Vivienne have always kept their birthdays private. For example, in 2016, the twins reportedly celebrated their ninth birthday with birthday pancakes in West Hollywood.

In January 2019, it was reported that Knox and Vivienne had participated with their siblings in the age-old tradition of selling treats to their neighbors. Instead of a typical lemonade stand, the Jolie-Pitt children set up a booth in their neighborhood dog park selling dog treats.

Recent red carpet photos of Angelina Jolie and her kids reveal that, like her older sister Shiloh, Vivienne is comfortable wearing gender-neutral clothing, in September 2017 and at the premiere of Dumbo in 2019.

Vivienne and Knox – Under the Public Eye

Angelina Jolie and her youngest child, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, are often seen holding hands or embracing each other.

Vivienne is very close to her mother and has been observed blushing and evading the paparazzi on several occasions. She has a gentle attitude and enjoys going shopping with her mother.

The non-identical twins’ first appearance was exclusively featured on the front page of two magazines, Hello! and People. The images of Vivienne and Knox were sold for a staggering $15 million within a month of their birth.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation received proceeds from the highly publicized baby photo shoot. Hundreds of journalists, cameramen, and photographers gathered outside the Lenval hospital on the glamorous seafront Promenade des Anglais to cover the birth.

The Cesarean section was moved forward “for medical reasons” so that the twins could be born “in the best possible conditions.” Despite the world’s paparazzi being focused on maternity units all over French Riviera, Jolie managed to enter the clinic unnoticed.

Reportedly, Jolie and her family arrived by helicopter on the rooftop helipad of the hospital, which offers a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The fifth floor of the hospital was secured for the couple and their entourage, according to hospital sources.

These non-identical twins, born in Nice, France, now seem to be maturing gracefully. It feels like only yesterday when Brangelina announced their birth. Both Vivienne Jolie-Pitt and Knox Jolie-Pitt are  Jolie’s favored companions for shopping.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt’s Appearance in a Disney Movie

Viv, as her mother calls her, had the opportunity to appear in a Hollywood film for the first time in 2014 with her mom, Angelina Jolie. Vivienne, in her adorable white dress, looked beautiful and innocent as she followed her mom in the scene.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt played the role of young Princess Aurora in Maleficent alongside Elle Fanning when she was only 11 years old. Angelina Jolie revealed that her children are not interested in pursuing a career in the film industry like their parents, despite her short acting career.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was chosen for the role of little Princess Aurora because she was the only child in Maleficent auditions who was not frightened by Angelina Jolie’s appearance in the film.

Jolie advised her to remain composed in times of great loss. Vivienne adopted two bunnies who needed assistance and tragically lost them during surgery.

The actress and activist disclosed in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK that her 11-year-old daughter Vivienne Marcheline had a rabbit who “sadly passed away after a surgery” during the coronavirus epidemic, while the family has been socially distant.

In the Midst of Her Parents’ Separation, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ended their marriage in 2019. Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and non-identical twins Knox and Vivienne, 13, are still in the midst of a custody dispute. Maddox, the oldest, is now 20 years old.

Angelina Jolie was urged by Eternals filmmaker Chloé Zhao to confront past traumas. While she did not provide details, the actress stated:

“We spent a lot of time discussing my specific PTSD and trauma and integrated it into this film.”

While promoting her new film “Eternals,” and battling for custody of her six children with the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is making the most of the time she has with her family.

Where does Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Reside?

The children spent much of their early years traveling the world to visit Brad and Angelina’s numerous residences and film shoots, often staying at the ex-couple’s medieval Chateau Miraval in Correns, France.

However, the high-profile Hollywood couple’s divorce proceedings in 2016 necessitated Brad and Angelina to move to Los Angeles for the sake of custody and visitation, as the twins spent their later childhood in the city.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt at Red Carpet Events

At her mother, Angelina Jolie’s movie premieres, the adorable blonde child has become a regular presence on the red carpet, appearing with her five siblings. Vivienne is the most reserved and youngest of the Jolie-Pitt children, typically standing next to her mother so that Angelina can envelop her in a protective embrace.

While Vivienne remains closest to her mother during every event, Knox, who is more outgoing, often stands at the far end of the sibling line with a wide smile. Even as toddlers, Knox would smile and wave to photographers when the family traversed airports, while Vivienne stayed close to her parents.

As they grew older, Knox and Vivienne’s hair darkened, and their features became more distinct. With beautiful blond hair and similar heights, these non-identical twins looked more alike when they were young.
