After graduating, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the NFL draft.

He later participated in NFL Europe with the Scottish Claymores and Frankfurt Galaxy. Post his NFL career’s culmination in 2004, he redirected his focus to coaching high school football in Missouri, where he both instructed and coached until his untimely passing.

Griff Redmill, a former Alabama offensive lineman, shared with WVTM13 that “Ahmaad was modest yet remarkably mature when he first joined Bama. He was astute and well-dressed, and I instantly sensed that he could become a lifelong comrade”.

According to Galloway’s sister, Kimberley Slaughter, “Ahmaad was always reserved and unassuming. During his earlier years, my brother was fond of football, and later, he cherished his children, Austin and Aubrey.”
