Dahmer’s Victim, David Thomas – His Corpse Was Never Found

David Courtney Thomas, also known as David Thomas Dahmer, was a young man who disappeared around 1990.

Despite Thomas’s remains never being located, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was found guilty of his murder, and images of his dismembered body were uncovered.

It is possible that Dahmer disposed of his remains.

Jeffrey Dahmer, one of America’s most notorious serial killers, is the subject of the chilling new Netflix limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

While seeking and killing his victims, Jeffrey had the same modus operandi.

As per his testimony, he frequently picked up the victims in gay clubs, shopping centers, or bus stations before luring them home with promises of money or intimacy.

Who Was David Thomas Dahmer?

David Thomas Dahmer was born in 1967 in the United States.

His birthplace and exact date of birth are unknown. He was a U.S. citizen and of African-American descent.

His three-year-old daughter, whom he had frequently visited, was left behind after his death.

At the time of his disappearance, he was on probation for retail theft. At the urging of his probation officer, his former girlfriend filed a missing person’s report for him.

Jeffrey Dahmer claimed David Thomas as his ninth victim. Thomas was beaten, strangled, and mutilated.

He passed away on September 24, 1990, at the age of 23.

How Did Dahmer Kill David Thomas?

Jeffrey murdered David Thomas when he was 23 years old, the same month in which he killed Ernest, and he dismembered his body.

On September 24, three weeks after Miller’s murder, Dahmer encountered David Thomas at the Grand Avenue Mall.

Thomas was last seen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 24, 1990. His family had last heard from him a month earlier.

He had intermittently lived with a partner for years, but at the time of his disappearance, he did not have a permanent residence.

Dahmer offered him more money in exchange for posing for photographs and enticed him to visit his apartment for a few drinks.

It is believed that Thomas had a daytime encounter with serial killer Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer and went with him to Dahmer’s home in West Allis, Wisconsin.

He confessed to the crime to the police, and Thomas’s family identified him in a photograph recovered in Dahmer’s apartment.

Dahmer frequently collected graphic “souvenirs” from the murders he committed, but it appears that Thomas’s murder was an exception.

Authorities believe Thomas’s remains were obliterated.

Richard Guerrero, Edward Smith, and Steven Tuomi are three other missing men believed to be Dahmer’s victims.

In 1991, Dahmer was arrested in Wisconsin after committing multiple murders of young men.

What Did Jeffrey Dahmer Say About his Intention Behind Killing David?

Dahmer told the police that after giving Thomas a drink laced with sedatives, he no longer felt attracted to him but was afraid to let him go as he might be upset about being drugged.

As a result, he strangled him and intentionally dismembered the entire body.

He documented the dismemberment process and retained the evidence, which helped in Thomas’s identification.

He was lured to Dahmer’s residence by the promise of money in exchange for posing as a nude model.

Dahmer admitted that Thomas was not his type after he was rendered unconscious by the drugged drink.

Why Did Dahmer Not Kill Anyone For Five Months After Murdering David Thomas?

Although he made at least five unsuccessful attempts to lure individuals to his apartment between October 1990 and February 1991, Dahmer refrained from killing anyone for almost five months after Thomas’s murder.

Reportedly, he repeatedly brought up his s*xuality, his solitary lifestyle, and his financial hardships while expressing anxiety and depression to his probation officer during 1990.

Dahmer has allegedly mentioned having suicidal thoughts on several occasions.

Final Verdict

Dahmer terminated David Thomas in 1990 after realizing he was not his type. David’s deceased body is still undiscovered because he disposed of it.

After drugging and killing him, Dahmer chose not to preserve any of his body parts, hence his remains were never found.
