On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, two adults, Christine and Sean Navish, were found dead within a residence on Dowaliby Court. Consequently, the police are exploring a potential murder-suicide scenario.

On March 29, 2023, the New Hampshire attorney general declared that the Dover police had discovered the two deceased persons inside the single-family home where they lived. Officers had been summoned to the house to check on the well-being of the occupants.

The residence underpinning the ongoing investigation is situated at 4 Dowaliby Court. 

According to Dover property records, Christine and Sean have owned the property since 2018. The duo is described as married in documents filed with the Strafford County Register of Deeds as recently as 2021.

As per the police, both adults resided in the house. Although the solicitor general’s office revealed their names, they were identified as a married couple in their 50s. 

Prior to notifying the families of the victims, the state solicitor general’s office opted not to immediately confirm their identities.

Michael Garrity, the attorney general’s spokeswoman, mentioned that further information will be disclosed once the autopsies have been completed.

The attorney general’s statement reads, “Although the investigation is in its early stages, there does not seem to be any danger to the general public regarding these two deaths.”

According to the announcement, authorities are looking into “a likely murder and suicide of the occupants residing at that location.” Officials asserted that there appears to be no threat to the general public.
