Joy Behar Children – Spitting Image Of The Veteran TV Host

As the saying goes, “a daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with, and love with all your heart.”

The children of Joy Behar, especially her daughter, radiate an everlasting brightness. She is her mother’s supporter, confidante, and greatest admirer.

Behar, a legendary American comedian, television host, actress, and writer, stepped into the entertainment industry when her daughter was just 11 years old.

Since then, she has worked on numerous shows and platforms. Currently, she co-hosts the ABC daytime talk show The View.

Recently, Behar faced backlash over a racial comment she made regarding Senator Tim Scott.

The View host compared presidential candidate Scott to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and suggested they don’t comprehend “the systemic racism that African Americans face.”

She added that Scott and Clarence are individuals who only believe in pulling themselves up over the fence instead of understanding the everyday struggle of African American people.

The View host did not hold herself back, proclaiming that neither Scott nor Clarence understands the hardship of Black people, and that’s also why they are a part of the Republican Party.

Understandably, Joy Behar received severe backlash from the people in question as well as other members of the Black community.

Senator Tim Scott responded to the female comedian’s remarks in a tweet. He said, “When a Black conservative who believes in the future of this nation stands up to be counted, they lose their minds.”

The latest entrant in the race for the 2024 presidential nominations, Tim Scott, said he’s the candidate that the radical left fears the most.

Scott, who considers himself the representative of the Black community, was offended by the white woman’s comments regarding the problems of an average Black person.

Even if Scott and Clarence do not have any knowledge about the matter in concern, it still wasn’t right on Behar’s part to call them out for something she herself couldn’t relate to or understand.

Congressman Byron Donalds called out Behar over her comments and noted photos of “The View” host dressed up as a Black woman for Halloween, which resurfaced in 2019.

He posted the footage of Joy Behar’s interview on his Twitter account with the caption, “Joy, dressing up as a Black woman for Halloween with dark paint on your face doesn’t magically make you Black or make you an expert on what it’s like to be Black.”

Donalds even called her a White liberal and politely asked her to stay away from this matter as it does not concern her.

Some viewers of her show, who also have white ethnicity, called Joy out due to her unnecessary remarks and claimed she was a ‘joke.’

What do Joy Behar children think of this fiasco revolving around their mother? Perhaps time will tell.

Moving forward, let’s take a look at the life of Joy Behar’s daughter, Eve Behar.

A glance at Eve Behar – The Daughter of Joy Behar

Over the years, people have maintained a continuous interest in The View co-panelist Joy Behar’s personal life.

Questions like ‘Does Joy Behar have a son’ or ‘How many kids does Joy Behar have’ have repeatedly made rounds on social media.

Although the 80-year-old host is far from child-bearing age, queries regarding her children seem to be never-ending.

Unlike other females in the entertainment industry, Joy has never shied away from talking about her children on different occasions.

She has frequently mentioned that she only has one child, a daughter named Eve Behar.

Eve, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother, has tried her best to remain out of the limelight and attention that her mother receives.

Joy gave birth to Eve when she was married to her first husband, Joseph Behar. The former pair married in 1965 and gave birth to Eve on November 26, 1970.

Unfortunately, their marriage did not work out, and they mutually decided to part ways in 1981, after sixteen years of being married.

Eve was born and raised in New York City. Physical features are not the only thing that Eve received from her mother. She also shared her interest in art and television production.

She received a certificate in ceramics from the Studio Arts Centers International in Florence, Italy, and a diploma in crafts and design from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Oakville, Ontario.

It’s not known whether Eve lived with her mother throughout her childhood or if she traveled back and forth between both her parents.

In her professional career’s early days, Eve became a television producer like her mother but eventually abandoned that career to own a ceramics studio.

According to her website, Eve maintains her studio practice at home in Sag Harbor, New York, where she “is happily potting near the beach surrounded by nature with visits from the local squirrels, chipmunks, birds and occasional deer.””

Even after turning 52 years old, Eve is still her mother’s baby girl, and Joy still cares for her as she used to when she was a little girl.

Despite witnessing her parents’ marriage ending in divorce, Eve decided to take a leap and married Alphonso Anthony Scotti in September 2007.

Not much is known about Eve and Alphonso’s introductory meeting, but they have managed to live happily together for the last 15 years.

Joy Behar’s children, especially her daughter Eve Behar, hold a very special place in the TV host’s life.

Her daughter gifted her with the pleasure of becoming a grandmother to a beautiful boy, Luca Behar Scotti, in February 2011.
