The fastest person to ever reach 40 million Instagram followers within 135 days is Kim Taehyung, also known as V, a member of the popular group BTS.
Kim Taehyung, a music icon, made his debut on social media and gained 40 million Instagram followers in just 135 days, leaving netizens astonished.
As of now, Taehyung has set a new milestone. V joined Instagram in December 2021, following the footsteps of other BTS members.
The renowned artist has posted 46 times on his Instagram account and is actively following the other BTS members, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and the official BTS page.
The ARMY, the band’s millions of followers worldwide, celebrated 26-year-old Kim Taehyung’s latest social media achievement.
Fans flooded BTS V with well-wishes and congratulations, using the hashtag ‘#THV40MILLION,’ making it a worldwide trend.
On a professional note, V recently returned to South Korea with the rest of BTS after a successful four-day show, “Permission To Dance On Stage In Las Vegas.”
Recently, BTS V shared a now-deleted photo showing a bruise he obtained on the final day of his performance in Las Vegas.
The singer shared a close-up of his bruised leg, covered neatly with two Pokemon band-aids, before the post was removed.
In addition to the bruise post, Taehyung also posted a photo from the show earlier in the day, displaying his face on the big screen while joking about leaving because of his worsening pimples.
“My pimples are getting worse, let’s go home,” captioned Kim Taehyung.
The band is gearing up for their highly anticipated comeback, which is expected to be completed in June, according to BTS. The announcement was made during the closing night of the PTD performance.
The new album is set for release on June 10, just a few days before the band’s ninth anniversary.
BigHit Music confirmed the news in a statement, adding,
“BTS will be releasing a new album on June 10, 2022. Further details will be provided in a separate notice. We appreciate your continued love and support for BTS’ upcoming album.”
During the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, BTS delivered a phenomenal performance of their hit song “Butter.”
Although the band did not receive any awards, vocalist V shared videos and photos from the star-studded event with his millions of followers, known as the ARMYs, which quickly went viral.
