As a young actor who first gained fame for his work in television and movies like “The Boy Who Drank Too Much,” Kerwin began his acting career. Kerwin played the character James Hunter in “James at 15” and “James at 16.”
James at 15 was a 1977 television series that followed a young teen boy passionate about photography and was compelled to relocate with his family from Oregon to Massachusetts.
Despite the fact that “James at 15” had only two seasons, Kerwin’s leading role made him a teenage idol.
