Lee Jihan Cause Of Death: Killed In Seoul Halloween Crowd Surge

Lee Jihan was one of over 150 individuals who tragically lost their lives in the crowd crush disaster in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday. His agency 935 Entertainment confirmed his passing in an online statement on Sunday.

935 Entertainment described him as a “warm and beloved friend to all” and highlighted that he was a “cheerful and genuine individual who always greeted others with a smile, as reported by the BBC.

The actor’s final social media update, posted just before the incident, was a joyful selfie with the caption “Halloween gathering.”

Our sympathies and support go out to Lee Jihan’s family and friends during this challenging period.

Lee Jihan is a South Korean vocalist and actor who first gained fame as a participant in the second season of “Produce 101.”

Following his appearance on the reality TV series, Jihan transitioned to acting in 2019, marking the beginning of his career with a role in the web sitcom “Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.” 

He portrayed a high school student with an intense affection for ramen in the show.

Lee’s skill and allure earned him a dedicated fanbase, and he rapidly emerged as one of the most sought-after young talents in Korea. With a successful career in both singing and acting, Lee Jihan was positioned as one of the most promising young stars in the Korean entertainment industry.
