Mac Miller Autopsy Revealed The Truth Behind His Death

Famous as Ariana Grande’s former boyfriend but also a celebrated rapper in his own right, the 26-year-old Miller was found dead by his assistant on September 7, 2018.

Coincidentally, just two days before Mac Miller’s fatal overdose, a Los Angeles man was apprehended on suspicion of peddling counterfeit opioid tablets to the rapper.

Reportedly, on September 5, 2018, Miller sought oxycodone and other substances from the individual. However, Pettit provided Miller with phony oxycodone pills laced with the powerful opioid fentanyl, as per a Drug Enforcement Agency document that was disclosed following Cameron James Pettit’s arrest.

Pettit, a 28-year-old inhabitant of the Hollywood Hills, appeared in court but remained silent.

He was assigned a public defender by the judge, who also ordered him to be remanded without bail.

The artist, who was open about his struggles with addiction, was last sighted by his assistant on September 6, 2018, at approximately 22:30.

The next morning, the same assistant found him lifeless in his bedroom. Medics pronounced him deceased on the spot.

Revelation of Mac Miller’s Autopsy Findings

The autopsy findings for Mac Miller revealed the cause of his death. According to an autopsy report, Miller succumbed to an overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.

At the time of his demise, Miller, whose birth name was Malcolm James McCormick, was 26 years old.

In Miller’s abode, authorities stumbled upon pills they believe Pettit had supplied, as well as indications that Miller had crushed and snorted Pettit’s oxycodone.

Nonetheless, Pettit has only been charged with distributing the drugs and not with directly contributing to Miller’s demise.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he had legal representation, and relatives or friends of Pettit couldn’t be contacted for comment.
