Is Naomi Sayre absent? A thorough inquiry followed Theresa’s report, involving multiple regional law enforcement agencies.
Regrettably, on Wednesday morning Naomi was discovered deceased in a rural area near Fayette County.
The exact cause of death has not yet been ascertained, though the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has stated they will continue to conduct an investigation until all the facts have been unveiled and justice can be served.
Anybody with information regarding the case are urged to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office as soon as possible.
Sunday, March 12, was a day of action in the Village of Bloomingburg. A community search was coordinated in an effort to find Sayre, who had been missing for several days.
Volunteers poured into the area, fanning out to prioritize certain areas where Sayre had been last seen in hopes of bringing her home.
However, only three days later on Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office received a report from a home in Bloomingburg and swiftly rushed to the scene.
Fortunately, upon arrival at the house, officers were swiftly directed towards Sayre– although it wasn’t for the result that all had hoped for. In the upstairs closet of that very home lay Sayre’s body.
Naomi’s death has shaken her family and friends as she was taken far too soon with seemingly no explanation.
While the cause of death is tragically still unknown, the Montgomery County Medical Coroner’s Office investigated Naomi’s body thoroughly in a post-mortem exam to give her loved ones closure.
It was reported by the sheriff’s office that upon examination, no signs of foul play were found. We remain hopeful that answers will eventually come to light so those closest to Naomi can find peace.
