Owen Wilson is an American actor, producer, and screenwriter. 

He is widely recognized for his collaboration with Wes Anderson, a filmmaker, and their joint work on numerous projects.

Owen, born on November 18, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, is a well-known figure in the film industry.

He is the son of Robert Andrew Wilson, an Advertising executive and operator of a public television, and Laura Cunningham Wilson, a photographer.

He is an American National, and his parents belong to an Irish Family. 

He has one elder brother, Andrew, and a younger brother, Luke, both of them are actors. 

He attended St. MArk’s School of texas but was expelled for his misconduct; he stole his teacher’s notebook. He continued his studies at Thomas Jefferson School before attending the New Mexico Military Institute.

Later, he pursued his education at the University of Texas and obtained a bachelor of arts degree in English. It was at this time that he crossed paths with Wes Anderson, a movie director with whom he later collaborated.

Owen Wilson is best known for his collaborations with Wes Anderson.

They teamed up on numerous projects. Owen Wilson made his debut alongside his brother Luke Wilson in the movie ‘ Bottle Rocket,’ which was directed by Anderson in 1996. 

The movie wasn’t a box office hit but received positive reviews and garnered significant attention from the audience, which was pivotal for the Wilson Brother’s careers.

He also co-wrote the script for Rushmore in 1998, Royal Tenenbaums in 2001, and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou (2004), directed by Wes Anderson. The movie Royal Tenenbaums was nominated for an Academy Award for a best original screenplay. 

Ben Stiller, an early enthusiast of Bottle rocket, directed cable guy and featured Owen Wilson. 

After taking on supporting roles in several movies such as Anaconda and Armageddon, he landed a significant role in Permanent Midnight and played a lead role in The Minus Man, portraying a serial killer, alongside Sheryl Crow, a singer. 

In addition to his work with Anderson, he also collaborated with Ben Stiller. Wilson starred with Ben Stiller in twelve movies over the past two decades.

He appeared in several high-budget movies, including meet the parents in 2000 and its sequels, Zoolander in 2001, and Starsky and Hutch in 2004. 

Wilson’s 2005 film Wedding Crashers, co-starring Vince Vaughn, was one of his highest-grossing box office hits, raking in over 200 million dollars in the United States. 

He also worked with his siblings in the 2005 film The Wendell Baker Story, written and directed by Luke and Andrew.

Wilson took on the role of Lightning McQueen in the Disney film Cars in 2006, appeared alongside Kate Hudson in You, Me, and Dupree, and co-starred with Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum as cowboy Jedediah.

He also appeared in The Darjeeling Limited, with Anderson, premiered on 30th September 2007. It was screened at the 45th annual new York Fim Festival and the Venice Film Festival. 

In March 2008, Owen Wilson also starred in Drillbit Taylor, Judd Apatow’s comedy.

In addition, he appeared alongside Jennifer Aniston in the film adaptation of John Grogan’s memoir, Marley & Me, in 2008. 

He provided the voice for the Whackbat Coach Skip in Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Wilson went on to star in The Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009, and he went on to voice more animated characters in Marmaduke in 2010, Cars 2 in 2011, and Free Birds in 2012.

Wilson also provided the voice for the animated hit Cars in 2006. 

Wooden Allen’s Midnight Paris, aired in 2011, featured Owen as Nostalifa seized writer. The film was directed and produced by Wes Anderson.

Owen Wilson’s Nose- The Story Behind His Nose 

Owen Wilson’s crooked nose has been a topic of interest among fans. 

Many have been curious about the history of his nose. However, Wilson never addressed it until 2001 when he was asked about it in an interview. 

During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, he revealed that his nose was injured before he began his acting career.  

The actor had broken his nose twice.  The first instance was during a scuffle with a schoolmate at St Mark’s High School.  The other occurred while playing football and getting injured. 

He also mentioned that his nose was average even before the injuries. 

Owen Wilson – Personal Life 

Wilson initially dated his co-star Sheryl Crow in early 2020. 

Subsequently, he dated Jade Duell, with whom he had a son in 2011. However, the couple parted ways in 2001. 

He has two other children, a son from Caroline Lindqvist, and a daughter from Varuni Vongsvirates. 

In total, he has three children.
