A wounded Tennessee mother, who intervened when her two pit bulls savaged her toddlers to death on Wednesday, is now in stable condition with stitches and bite marks on her body.
In Shelby county, Tennessee, Kirstie Jane Bennard, 30, sustained severe injuries when her 5-month-old boy, Hollace Dean Bennard, and her 2-year-old daughter, Lilly Jane Bennard, were targeted by the dogs.
Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has released a tweet informing the public that both children have been found deceased at the scene of the incident.
According to Jeff Gibson, the uncle of Colby Bennard, the mother’s condition is stable, but her body is covered in bite marks and stitches. (wrote on Facebook)
