Welch’s representative Steve Sauer said in a statement to People news that “the iconic bombshell actress of film, television, and stage died away quietly early this morning after a brief illness.”

Raquel leaves behind her two children, her son Damon Welch and her daughter, Tahnee Welch.

Tahnee and Damon Welch, Welch’s two now-adult children, are her only heirs. Damon is 63 and has also worked as an actor, while Tahnee is 61 and a model and actress.
