RipNDip Controversy – Again Criticised For S*xiest Clothing Tags

The RipNDip scandal has been making the rounds on the internet, and this is not the first time they have come under fire for their provocative clothing labels.

This time, the skateboarding brand RipNDip found themselves embroiled in controversy over their clothing tag. The message printed on the tag has sparked concern.

A Reddit user, thedoctorsclara, posted an image of a RipNDip care tag, which started circulating on the internet on August 5.

The care tag in question could be considered offensive by many. For those unfamiliar, RipNDip is known for its “Lord Nermal” merchandise.

The care tag reads, “If washing becomes absolutely necessary, give to your mother or girlfriend and then go skate.”

Some individuals did not understand the meaning behind the statement and interpreted it as related to laundry. However, others found the tag offensive.

A Reddit user commented, “What a subtly sexist message, RipNDip clothing.” It was highlighted that RipNDip had previously gained attention for their explicit tags.

On Instagram, a user expressed, “What on earth is this? I’m extremely disappointed that I spent money on this #sexist nonsense. Instead of encouraging boys to mistreat women, why not provide instructions on how to launder your clothes in the first place.”

Another user suggested that if women come across this tag while doing laundry, they should pour a large cup of bleach over it.
