He was arrested for participating in an incident where an unhoused man named Jonny Jordan was pushed off a bridge by another individual. Jordan drowned at the scene when law enforcement authorities intervened.

Reports from reputable sources state that, starting in 2002, Edward was also unhoused and had to relocate from one shelter to another. He relocated frequently until his arrest.

Following the trial, Edward was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for his involvement in Jordan’s drowning. The other man involved in Jordan’s demise, Timothy Carr, received a 4-year prison term.
