Was Shanquella Robinson Transgender Killed Because Of Her Gender?

Whether Shanquella Robinson was a transgender individual or not will forever remain unknown. In October 2022, while on a trip to Mexico, Robinson, a U.S. citizen, was tragically killed.

The deceased never explicitly stated her transgender identity. She was born female, but some sources assert that she underwent a gender transition before her passing.

Only Robinson’s close family or friends can confirm or deny this claim and reveal whether Shanquella Robinson was transgender.

Robinson traveled to Mexico with six friends on October 28th, 2022. Allegedly, she was murdered the following day. Her companions on the trip asserted that she died from alcohol poisoning.

Someone recorded and posted the altercation between Robinson and her friend, during which the friend threw her to the ground and struck her on the head.

Shanquella’s father, Bernard Robinson, identified his daughter in the video.

However, the authorities could not ascertain the origin of the video, who recorded it, or whether the assault led to Shanquella’s demise.

Someone recorded the video from an angle that made it impossible for the authorities to determine the number of individuals present in the room where the incident took place.

What did Shanquella Robinson autopsy reveal?

Two conflicting autopsy reports complicated Shanquella Robinson’s case. According to the initial report, paramedics pronounced Shanquella dead within 15 minutes of their arrival at her residence due to spinal cord and neck injuries.

Conversely, a second report stated that paramedics found Shanquella to be alive but inebriated. They requested her friends to escort her to the hospital, which they failed to do.

A team of medical professionals arrived at the scene two hours later and found Shanquella in an unstable condition. Her pulse had weakened, and she was experiencing breathing difficulties and seizures.

The paramedics attempted to resuscitate her, but she suffered cardiac arrest and passed away within an hour.

Who assaulted Shanquella Robinson?

Shanquella’s college friend, Daejhanae Jackson, was the aggressor in the video.

The incriminating video depicted Shanquella and Daejhanae engaged in a physical altercation. Following the video’s circulation, Mexican authorities issued an arrest warrant for Daejhanae.

Since Shanquella’s untimely demise, her family has been fighting for justice. Recently, the FBI concluded its investigation into Shanquella Robinson’s death.

Regrettably for the victim’s family, the FBI has decided not to pursue federal charges related to the case.

They informed the victim’s family that the available evidence does not support or demand federal prosecution.

Shanquella’s death certificate cites her cause of death as “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation.”

Regardless of whether Shanquella Robinson was transgender or not, she deserved a longer life.

The Robinson family will persist in their pursuit of justice for Shanquella.
