He expressed his sentiments, “I firmly believe that I was destined to be Hap’s dad, Ace’s dad.”

When Schaub inquired about their decision to adopt instead of having biological children, Chandler revealed that his wife had always desired to adopt.

He considers fatherhood to be the most crucial and gratifying role in life, emphasizing that their decision to adopt was not influenced by his fame, but rather by their genuine desire to provide a loving home for children in need.

When Did Michael Chandler Welcome His Firstborn?
Michael Chandler and his wife, Brie Willet, welcomed their firstborn into their lives through adoption in 2018, naming him Hap Whitaker.
Chandler emotionally recounted the moment he first saw a picture of his nine-month-old son.
After fulfilling the legal requirements for adoption, they became eligible and received a call only six minutes after becoming eligible.
According to Chandler, adoption had been on Brie’s mind since she was a teenager, influenced by her volunteer work at ‘Granny’s House’ caring for orphaned children.
