Who Is Aiden Fucci? The Murder Case of Tristyn Bailey

Have you ever imagined that a 14-year-old Aiden Fucci could commit such a dreadful crime due to his desire to stab someone?

Well, this is the narrative of a young man who killed a girl named Tristyn Bailey, who was found deceased on May 9, 2021. She was only 13 years old at the time of the incident.

About Aiden Fucci

Aiden Fucci is the offspring of Crystal Smith and Jasson Fucci. He was born in the state of Florida, in the northeastern part of the country.

Being a student of Patriot Oaks Academy in St Johns County, Aiden Fucci is simply a young individual who was driven by his peculiar urge on the night of May 9, 2021.

The story commences with Aiden Fucci’s dreadful fantasies, which his friends reported to the authorities, and they gathered pieces of evidence of his being mentally unstable.

It’s all tied to Fucci’s previous life. His 36-year-old father, Jason Fucci, was arrested for various offenses he committed while he was a minor.

This might have had an impact on his cognitive processes, turning everything around him into a negative light.

In 2003, Jasson went to jail. He has a long criminal record, along with a term in jail for obscene or sexual violence and child abuse.

According to court records acquired from Duval County Court, Fucci Sr. was convicted of sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl in his residence and he was 18 years old at the time.

Although he did knowingly or deliberately abuse a child by purposefully doing an offense that may reasonably be anticipated to result in physical or mental damage to a person under the age of 18 years, according to the second charge.

Fucci Sr. was tried and convicted to two years probation, however after breaking the rules, he was arrested for 14 months, with 158 days given as credit.

Not only has he had a history of bad conduct, but he’s also had a number of previous run-ins with the authorities, including allegations of stealing and driving with a suspended license.

His criminal career, on the other hand, did not end there. Aiden Fucci, his son, was growing up during this time. His inexperienced mind couldn’t fathom the repercussions of such deeds.

In 2016, he was arrested for violence after officers said he got into a confrontation with a couple at a gas station while his son was there, however it is unclear if this was young Aiden.

A Girl Went Missing

Tristyn Bailey, a 13-year-old girl, who also attended the same school as Aiden Fucci was found deceased in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac near her home in St. Johns.

She was last seen on the Sunday morning around her area in St Johns, Florida. Aiden Fucci lived in the same place. The police started looking for Bailey when her family filed a missing complaint at 10 a.m.

After Bailey’s dead body was found, a photo showed a youngster in the back of a patrol car proudly displaying a peace sign with the message “hey guys has inybody [sic] seen Tristyn lately” circulated on social media.

That photo went viral and became a piece of evidence against Aiden Fucci. He was seen walking with Bailey on the night she was murdered, according to new footage released in August.

Another horrific video revealed by the State Attorney’s Office showed Fucci’s mother, Crystal Smith, cleaning blood off of her son’s pants, according to authorities.

While her son’s interrogation by authorities, she allegedly rinsed the jeans. Her machine’s drain and home were tested positive for blood.

And later, Crystal Smith was accused of tampering with evidence and charged in the case of Bailey’s death.

The Official Documents

During interrogation, Fucci reportedly informed officers that he kissed Bailey, who allegedly refused him, as per official reports.

According to the document, Fucci said she grabbed his private part and he shoved her, then she smacked her head as she fell. He apparently grew enraged and told her to “F**k off” before leaving, according to authorities.

Detectives reportedly recovered his notebook, which included “drawings of a violent nature.” There was a “Satanic element” to several of the artwork.

They also claimed to have found a sketch of a naked woman with blood streaming from her cut-off arms on Fucci’s desk. X’s were cut in crimson across the female’s private areas.

According to the records, Fucci had discussed killing before Bailey’s death. Detectives were informed by one of Fucci’s buddies that Fucci had told “if he were to kill someone, it was going to be planned, he would find a random person walking at night, drag them into the woods, and stab them,” as per the reports.

According to the investigation, the word “KARMA” was written with blue ink on Bailey’s left ankle and her right ankle had a “smiley face” made on it, although the report does not say how it got there.

The Cause of Death

Tristyn Bailey’s dead body was found in the forest near her Durbin Crossing home later that day by a neighbor.

She was stabbed 114 times with a folding buck knife, according to Florida State Attorney R.J. Larizza. She also mentioned that 49 of the wounds occurred in her hands and arms for defense.

The St. John’s Sheriff’s Office arrested Aiden Fucci on the charges of second-degree murder within eight hours, but later the grand jury convened in private.

The jury decided to change their decision and they ruled out Fucci with first-degree murder on May 27, 2021. During the media briefing, Larizza stated, “This case belongs in the adult system.”

Since the start of the inquiry, his statement has changed many times, according to investigators.

If convicted or found guilty, Fucci would face adult charges and may even be put in an adult prison, while he will be kept isolated from the people.

Fucci’s case would be reconsidered after 25 years, according to Larizza, and a court might opt to reduce or free him.

When asked by reporters, Larizza stated that there is no indication that Fucci has any psychological problem. They also stated that the boy had no prior criminal records.

People signed an online petition demanding authorities prosecute Fucci with murder in the first degree and trial him as an adult for the horrific event. The petition recieved more than 700,000 signatures.
