When the authorities apprehended Jeffrey Dahmer and identified Konerack as one of his victims, Somsack had already made the arduous journey back to his family and was still residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, despite his horrible experience.
The Estate of Sinthasomphone and the family of Konerak have brought legal action against the Milwaukee Police Department and the City of Milwaukee, alleging that these entities violated the plaintiffs’ constitutional rights.
Since then, Somsack has chosen to keep his personal life a secret and has made it a priority to avoid drawing attention to him. On the other hand, it would appear that Somsack Sinthasomphone is already married and living in Wisconsin with his wife.

When Konerak Sinthasomphone first encountered Jeffrey Dahmer, he was only 14. Tragically, he was the next victim of the Milwaukee Monster. A decade ago, his family had left the country for Laos in the hopes of one day experiencing what is known as “the American dream.”
But they had no idea their time in America would be a living nightmare.
As detailed in the documentary Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, available on Netflix, a young Jeffrey Dahmer meets Konerak Sinthasomphone outside a liquor store. At the time, Jeffrey was unaware that Konerak was Somsack’s brother, whom he had sexually assaulted in 1988.
It would appear that the perpetrator of the crime invited the victim, Konerak, to his flat for a few drinks and offered him $100 in exchange for taking some photographs. Because Konerak’s family desperately needs money, the reluctant Konerak finally gives up.
When they arrived at his place, Jeffrey knocked out the child and began taking images of him before subjecting him to a terrible experiment while he was still aware.
Jeffrey was mesmerized by the prospect of inducing a zombie-like state in his victims, and he attempted to do this with Konerak. A hole will be drilled in his skull, pouring acid into his head.
After that, Dahmer fled the building searching for more alcohol, while Konerak somehow regained his composure and fled the scene.

Next, Jeffrey Dahmer approached Cole and started yelling at him, demanding that the youngster be given back to him.
He claimed he had many friends and was too drunk to realize where he was.
However, his account changed after police officers John A. Balcerzak and Joseph T. Garish arrived.
Jeffrey Dahmer revealed to them that Konerak Sinthasomphone, who was only 19 then, was his sweetheart and that she acted strangely.
The women were unaware that Jeffrey Dahmer had made the boy incapable of speaking by drilling a small hole in his head and injecting acid into it. Consequently, the boy was mute.
Jeffrey was believed by the police, even if the other people present did not, and they took the other two people to his room.

On July 22, 1991, Dahmer was finally apprehended after victim Tracy Edwards escaped and prompted police to return to his apartment. Police discovered around Dahmer’s home dissolving body parts, sedative drugs, and pictures of dismembered cadavers, according to The New York Times.
