Who Is Jesse Anderson & For What Offense Was He Incarcerated?
American convicted murderer Jesse Anderson was found guilty of homicide. Jesse Anderson fatally stabbed his wife five times in the head and face in 1992.
He then inflicted four stab wounds on himself in the chest, from which he survived; however, his wife fell into a coma and passed away two days later.
Anderson alleged that he and his wife were assaulted by two African American men. He presented the authorities with a Los Angeles Clippers basketball cap that he claimed belonged to the two men.
Subsequently, after his crime became public, a college student came forward and confessed to authorities that Anderson had purchased the cap from him days before the murder.
Furthermore, employees at a military supply store testified that Anderson had bought the red-handled fishing knife, which was used in his wife’s murder and was later presented as evidence in her case, a few weeks prior to the incident.
He was convicted on April 29, one week after the stabbing, and was sentenced to 60 years in prison with no possibility of parole.
Why Did Christopher Scarver Murder Anderson After Killing Dahmer?
The inmate who killed Jeffrey Dahmer has disclosed to The Post why he also killed another prisoner: because the man had attempted to blame African American individuals for his wife’s murder and defaced a painting of Martin Luther King.
While both Dahmer and Jesse Anderson, who was a wealthy, white salesman, were serving life sentences for murder in a Wisconsin prison in 1994, Christopher Scarver claims he killed Anderson because he violated his personal prison code.
Anderson, 37, damaged a portrait of the renowned civil rights activist while incarcerated, which led Scarver, a black man, to view him as a racist.
In a subsequent interview, Scarver stated:
“There was a picture in the arts and crafts room that a prisoner had spent a lot of time painting, and he hung it up in that location to dry. The now-45-year-old prisoner complained that Anderson “painted a blood dot on MLK’s forehead as if it were a bullet wound.”
Scarver also mentioned that he was infuriated by Anderson’s attempt to accuse two African American men of his wife’s murder.
On November 28, 1994, shortly after the incident involving Dahmer, Scarver used a metal rod to crush Anderson’s skull.

Following a confrontation between Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson, Scarver chased Dahmer into the locker room and struck him in the head with a steel bar. Contrary to the portrayal in the Netflix series, he then took the life of Jesse Anderson, a 37-year-old man.
Approximately an hour after the assault, Dahmer was declared deceased, and Anderson passed away two days after being removed from life support at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
